Young Professionals
The LoDo Young Professionals Committee exists to provide LoDo District Members in the age of demographic of 22-35 with opportunities for civic engagement, mentoring, social interaction, and networking. The committee also seeks to give back to the LoDo community by engaging in neighborhood service projects, and generally supporting the efforts of the LoDo District organization.

Government Relations
The Government Relations Committee exists to assist the organization with its interactions with community groups, government and regulatory agencies. The committee recently engaged the organization in a downtown gubernatorial debate and is exploring a Good Neighbor Policy for Construction Projects for Lower Downtown.

Economic & Community Development
The Economic and Community Development Committee exists to create a set of strategic steps, both short- and long-term, that the Lower Downtown District can take and/or coordinate toward the goal of enhancing and expanding the economic vitality and street energy of the Lower Downtown District by strengthening the foundation of retail activity.

Events & Marketing
The Events & Marketing Committee exists to support LoDo District and its membership by creating fun, social, networking, and/or fundraising events. The Marketing & Events Committee produces the Annual Meeting & Limelight Awards, and the Holiday Lighting of Union Station (in concert with RTD and partner organizations), as well as various other events throughout the year.

Finance Committee
The Finance Committee exists to ensure the LoDo District’s overall financial stability. It provides financial oversight, annual budgeting and assists the organization with applicable regulatory requirements.

Membership Development
“Git-and-Retain” – LoDo District is a membership-supported organization and, as such the Membership Committee underpins the organization’s foundation by recruiting new members and retaining and developing existing memberships through the creation of relationships, refining and expanding member benefits, and facilitating community involvement.

Transportation
The Transportation Committee exists to advocate responsible pedestrian, parking, traffic, and transit solutions to help maintain the health and vibrancy of the LoDo neighborhood. The committee is currently exploring a parking benefits district for Lower Downtown, as well as working with partners to create a uniform parking lot operations guide.

The Communications & PR Committee exists to generate topical discussions regarding the activities of the organization and issues important to the neighborhood, stakeholders and surrounding communities. Communications vehicles include the internet, a regularly published LoDo District newsletter and general media.

Urban Design
The Urban Design Committee exists to provide a forum for people in the various design, development, historic preservation, construction, and real estate fields to communicate with one another, and to be the voice of the LoDo mixed-use neighborhood to the community and surrounding neighborhoods on these issues. The Urban Design Committee is currently involved with the Union Station redevelopment, the Bell Park rezoning/HUED creation, and an architectural lecture series.
