LoDo Cares

LoDo Cares is the community service arm of LoDo District, Inc. and works to improve the experiences of those who live, work and play in LoDo and the surrounding communities.   


1st Monday
- 4 p.m., Kentwood City Properties

Urban Design

The Urban Design Committee exists to provide a forum for people in the various design, development, historic preservation, construction, and real estate fields to communicate with one another, and to be the voice of the LoDo mixed-use neighborhood to the community and surrounding neighborhoods on these issues.

Economic & Community Development

The Economic and Community Development Committee seeks to create a set of strategic steps that the Lower Downtown District can take, to enhance and expand the economic vitality and street energy of the Lower Downtown District.

1st Tuesday - 4 p.m., Backcountry Provisions

Young Professionals

The LoDo Young Professionals Committee exists to provide LoDo District Members in the age of demographic of 22-35 with opportunities for civic engagement, mentoring, social interaction, and networking.  The committee also seeks to give back to the LoDo community by engaging in neighborhood service projects, and generally supporting the efforts of the LoDo District organization.

1st Tuesday -5:30 p.m., Wynkoop Brewing Co.

Hospitality

The Hospitality Committee, is a subcommittee of LoDo District, Inc.'s Economic & Community Development Committee, is a self-funded committee established to provide marketing, events and public relations services to enhance LoDo's brand as Denver's premiere hospitality destination.

1st Wednesday - 2:30 p.m., The Celtic Tavern

Transportation & Government Relations

The Transportation & Government Relations Committee exists to advocate responsible pedestrian, parking, traffic, and transit solutions to help maintain the health and vibrancy of the LoDo neighborhood. The committee also assists the organization with its interactions with community groups, government and regulatory agencies.

Events

The Events committee exists to establish fundraising events and create revenue for the annual operating budget for the existence of the LoDo District.

2nd Wednesday - 8:15 a.m., Mangiamo Pronto!

Membership

The Membership committee exists to generate/retain membership revenues to help fund an annual operating budget for the existence of the LoDo District.  By recruiting new members and retaining members we provide outlets for members to connect in the neighborhood and market themselves.
